Community & Participant Partnerships Lead

Turn community relationships, referrals and the growing pipeline of in-kind offers into well-organised opportunities that participants can actually access and enjoy.

Commitment
Approx. 5 paid days initially, spread across the recruitment and partner-preparation period. Any later visit coordination is commissioned separately by agreement.

£120–£150 per day

Lead Storytelling Practitioner

Lead participant-centred creative sessions and help adults turn memory, place and lived experience into strong stories without taking authorship away from them.

Commitment
4 workshop days required. Up to 2 additional paid preparation or mentoring blocks may be commissioned, giving a maximum planned commitment of 6 paid sessions.

Access & Participant Support Practitioner

Remove practical barriers to participation and provide calm, bounded support around workshops, visits and showcase activity.

Commitment
Up to 6 paid support sessions are currently planned. This is needs-led, so the final number may be lower and sessions are confirmed individually.

Specialist Media Practitioners

Bring focused expertise in photography, audio, film, writing or digital production when participant stories need deeper practical support.

Commitment
Usually 1 paid workshop or specialist session per practitioner. Strong applicants may be commissioned for 2–4 sessions where their discipline fits more than one workshop.

£180–£240 per workshop or equivalent specialist session

Showcase Producer

Turn a collection of individual participant stories into a calm, accessible and professionally delivered public showcase.

Commitment
2 paid days required: one setup/production day and one showcase/event day. Any additional advance planning is agreed before appointment.

Documentation & Evaluation Practitioner

Capture credible evidence of what happened, what participants learned and what the project should carry forward without turning people into compulsory case studies.

Commitment
Approx. 2.5 paid days total: two partial documentation/event days plus one editing, evidence and evaluation block.

Key dates
Selected documentation: Sat 20 Mar 2027 and Sat 15 May 2027. Editing/evidence handover by Fri 21 May, with final evaluation material supporting close-out through Fri 28 May.

The current 16-person Digital Storytelling Lab is supported through Arts Council England National Lottery Project Grants. Common Ground is the wider place-based storytelling platform around that funded spine.
