Dates

Welcome/access planning: Mon 4 to Fri 15 Jan 2027. Workshop support may be required on 23 Jan, 20 Feb, 20 Mar and 17 Apr 2027, usually 10:00–16:00.

Make the programme genuinely usable for people who might otherwise drop out because of communication, confidence, mobility, sensory, language, travel or other practical barriers.

What you will own

Responsibilities

  • Identify reasonable adjustments with participants rather than making assumptions.
  • Support accessible pre-session information and participant check-ins.
  • Provide agreed on-the-day support for selected sessions or visits.
  • Help the team improve access by design.
  • Escalate safeguarding or wellbeing concerns through the agreed route.
OUTPUTS

What we need delivered

  • Practical adjustment plans where needed.
  • Useful and proportionate access notes.
  • Clear closure of identified access follow-ups.
ESSENTIAL

What you should bring

  • Experience in community support, access, inclusion or participant care.
  • Excellent boundaries and calm judgement.
  • Ability to support adults without over-managing them.
USEFUL

Helpful, not mandatory

  • Knowledge of local transport and rural access barriers.
  • Experience supporting creative or community programmes.
