Why this role exists

A real delivery responsibility, not a generic job title.

This is the relationship-and-follow-through role at the centre of Common Ground. The right person will turn warm community and partner relationships into clear next steps, confirmed arrangements and useful participant opportunities rather than letting them sit in an inbox.

What you will own

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day follow-through with organisations offering referrals, experiences, access or practical help.
  • Take warm opportunities through to a clear next step: call, visit, date, participant numbers, access requirements and confirmation.
  • Maintain a disciplined partner pipeline in Common Ground HQ.
  • Support participant recruitment and trusted referral routes across Fenland.
  • Coordinate participant information for agreed visits and experiences.
  • Escalate safeguarding, reputational, significant-cost or scope-change issues before commitment.
OUTPUTS

What we need delivered

  • A live partner and referral pipeline with named next actions.
  • Confirmed briefs for important partner experiences.
  • Clear participant and partner communications.
  • A concise handover record after meaningful calls, meetings or visits.
ESSENTIAL

What you should bring

  • Excellent relationship-building and follow-up skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a natural, non-corporate manner.
  • Very good organisation across dates and contacts.
  • Experience in communities, partnerships, outreach, events or stakeholder coordination.
  • Sound judgement around consent, confidentiality and safeguarding.
USEFUL

Helpful, not mandatory

  • Knowledge of Fenland or nearby communities.
  • Experience with cultural, heritage, education or creative programmes.
  • Understanding of access or rural transport barriers.
