Capture credible evidence of what happened, what participants learned and what the project should carry forward without turning people into compulsory case studies.

Selected documentation: Sat 20 Mar 2027 and Sat 15 May 2027. Editing/evidence handover by Fri 21 May, with final evaluation material supporting close-out through Fri 28 May.

What you will own

Responsibilities

  • Use a light-touch evaluation approach connected to the project's real outcomes.
  • Gather participant feedback in accessible formats.
  • Document selected delivery and showcase activity where permission is clear.
  • Separate evidence, observation and participant quotation accurately.
  • Synthesize outcomes, learning and gaps for project reporting.
OUTPUTS

  • Simple evaluation framework and evidence plan.
  • Organised report-ready evidence set.
  • Concise end-of-project learning and outcomes summary.
ESSENTIAL

What you should bring

  • Experience in evaluation, research, documentary practice or evidence-led community work.
  • Strong consent and data-handling instincts.
  • Ability to write clearly and distinguish evidence from interpretation.
USEFUL

Helpful, not mandatory

  • Arts Council, community arts or cultural evaluation experience.
  • Photography or documentary skills where used ethically.
