Marion Leeper gives Common Ground two questions that can change a story
Storyteller Marion Leeper has contributed simple prompts about audience and feeling, plus a Fenland folklore story-starter, for Common Ground participants to use if helpful.
Storyteller Marion Leeper responded to a deliberately small Common Ground question: what is one prompt that can unlock a good story? Her answer centred on thinking about who is listening and what feeling the storyteller wants to create.
She also offered a Fenland folklore starting point. Both are optional creative tools, not instructions about what a participant should make.
Something useful to carry into the workshops
The prompts can support writing, interviewing, audio, film or simply help someone decide what their story is really trying to do.
