Read the participant guide →Explore the programme →Read the privacy notice →The funded 16-place cohort is for adults aged 18+ with genuine Fenland roots or a meaningful connection to Fenland. Priority goes to people living in Fenland District, including Wisbech, March, Whittlesey, Chatteris and its villages. If you grew up here or have deep family or community roots but now live just outside the district, register your interest anyway and tell us about that connection. Every application is still assessed consistently.
Taking part is completely free. Reasonable local travel costs for in-person Common Ground activity are covered, and food and refreshments are provided on in-person workshop days. We can help with equipment where needed as kit becomes available. There are also optional creative inspiration visits to local cultural, heritage, nature and community places, with travel arranged or reimbursed. If you would rather join online, that route stays open too.
That might include written information, captions, communication support, a quieter setup, travel or mobility needs, or another adjustment. We will ask rather than assume, and you only need to share what is useful for the support you are asking about.
Interested? Just raise your hand.
